Document Settings Panel

The Document Settings panel lets you configure the canvas size and units. Click the gear icon button on the right side of the toolbar to show it.

When there are more settings than the window height can fit, the panel becomes internally scrollable automatically.

Opening this panel switches to the Select tool, and every other tool is disabled while it is open. Page operations take priority: node selection, movement, resizing, transformation, and text editing are disabled, and selected-node HUD controls are hidden.

Add, select, and reorder pages from the canvas page HUD. Copy, paste, cut, and delete the selected page from the toolbar. Change the page layout in this panel.

File Name

Enter a file name and press Enter or click elsewhere to rename the file on Google Drive. The extension is appended automatically based on auto-save format: .shapora.png / .shapora.svg / .shapora.pdf / .shapora.json.

Auto-save Format

You can choose the auto-save format from SVG / PNG / PDF / JSON. The default is PNG.

Unit Toggle

Switch between px and mm for width and height input.

Size Settings

Enter width and height values directly. Click "Apply" to change the canvas size.

Page Layout

For multi-page documents, choose stacked vertically like slides, placed to the right like left-to-right books, or placed to the left like right-to-left books. Changing the layout moves nodes and connection coordinates with their page.

Page Background

When Page background is enabled, each page gets an implicit background rectangle with the same size as the page and the selected color. This background does not appear in the Layers panel, but it is included in SVG / PNG / PDF exports.

Fit to Content

Click "Fit to content" to automatically resize the canvas to tightly fit all nodes.

Canvas Resize Mode

While the document settings panel is open, resize handles appear on the edges of the canvas. Drag them to adjust the size.

Fit View

The "Fit View" button on the toolbar automatically adjusts zoom and position so the entire canvas fits in the window. When a right panel is visible, it uses the area excluding that panel width. Note: it fits the canvas, not individual nodes.
